  • Hi Jamie,

Do you use a security plugin, iTheme Security or similar?

    Hi Benjamin,

I’m getting a 404 error in this same scenario reported by @moffat1990.

    Plugin version: Version 2.3.12

Reproduce: Select next month or previous month (or any other date) available in the month/year tool bar.

See error: Something went wrong while fetching events.
    The request status is: 404
The error thrown was: Not Found

Here is a screenshot of the error: https://i.imgur.com/HFJ6t6p.png

No security plugins are present, no new plugins added, latest WP version is running.

    Thank you,

    Scott

    Hi Scott,

What happens when you change the permalinks to default(Plain)?

Thanks for looking at my problem, Benjamin!

I changed the permalinks to Plain (although can’t do that on a permanent basis), and found that I get a 404 and Page Not Found Error just for the page the calendar was on. All the other website pages are working ok at the Plain permalink setting.

    Not Found
The requested URL /sample-page was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I’ve been using the /sample-page to house the calendar.

Please try to change the default calendar page.

I changed default calendar page to a self-created /calendar page and the problem is gone. Awesome!

I also reverted the permalinks to Post name and everything is working fine.

    Thanks for your help, Benjamin!

No problem, glad I could help ??

    Hi Benjamin,
This was caused by a security plug-in I am using.

    Thanks for your help.
