    Hi,

I’m using tablepress on our website, where I create tables for server parameters.

Recently, when I try to enter larger data into a table cell and then save the table, the following error raises:
Warning: An error has occurred. There was a problem with the server, HTTP response code 403 ().

This happens on such small differences in text length, such as:
OS: 2× 1.92 TB NVMe (fine)
OS: 2× 1.92 TB NVMe DATA: 30 TB (8× 3.84 TB) NVMe (throws an error)

    What could be causing this?
    Thanks.

    Hi!

Thanks for your post and sorry for the trouble!

From my experience, this indicates a problem with the server configuration. I assume that your server’s security or firewall software are configured too strictly. They don’t seem to like something about the data that is sent from your browser to the server (it could be the structure, the size, or even the content of the data). This then triggers a security rule (because that software falsely thinks that an
attack is happening or that too many resources are used) and the request is blocked with a server error.

You would need to get in touch with the server admin or the webhost’s support team here. They should be able to find the exact cause, and the rule that triggered this, in their server error log files. Then, they can adjust the configuration so that the false positive is no longer triggered.

    Best wishes,
    Tobias
