403 error on all images

    Hi,

    I’m hoping you can help. The owner of this website got in touch to say all their images have disappeared. After a quick look at the site I see all images are getting 403 errors.
    I’ve checked permissions and folders are set to 755 and files 644 so all good there.
    I’ve had WordFence and WPRocket working fine with this site for a few years up until now.
    I’ve tried disabling all plugins and clearing cache with no luck.
    I’ve since disabled WPRocket – set firewall to learning mode and reset the .htaccess file and still no change.

    Has anyone any experience fixing 403 errors to all images?

    Managed to figure it out.

    File ownership had changed somehow.

    Got the host to fix ownership, now all good.
