    Hi,

I completed a SEMRush Site audit, and it has identified internal links broken: that is, every page which links to the My Accounts page and the link is coming back as 403 error. How can I stop this or adjust it so it doesn’t come back as internal link broken?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi,

I understand there is an issue with the links to the My Accounts page.

The 403 error typically means that the server understood the request, but it refuses to authorize it. This error often suggests that there is an issue with permissions or file or folder restrictions on your server. Here are a few steps on how you could potentially rectify this issue:

    1. Verify your site’s .htaccess file: Review your site’s .htaccess file located in the root directory of your WordPress installation to ensure there are no improper redirects or access limitations.

    2. Check your site’s file permissions: Make sure that all of your website’s file permissions are set correctly.

    3. Review your plugins: Occasionally, issues with WooCommerce can stem from problems with your site’s plugins. You might want to try deactivating your plugins one by one to see if this resolves the error.

If you need further assistance, do let us know.

    Cheers!
