403 Error in WHMCS install folder

  • Hi,

    I’ve got WHMCS installed in my main Public HTML folder and I’ve just uploaded the upgrade files that should allow the /domain/whmcs/admin to lead to domain/whmcs/install/install.php file so that I can run the upgrade but I’m getting a 403 error whatever I do.

    I’ve tried white listing my ip addrsss, putting /whmcs/install in the 404 folder whitelist, (clearing my cache after each try), but I’m still getting a 403 error.

    I really need to get this upgrade done, has anybody any suggestions as to how I can do it, sort this problem out?
