• Hi

I have the WP super Cache plugin installed on 3 websites, all with similar setups (and plugin) and with the same hosting company.

Out of the blue I started getting the following error on one of my websites:
    “Forbidden
You don’t have permission to access /wp-content/cache/supercache/[domain]/about-the-competition//index.html.gz on this server.”

If I’m logged in I don’t get the error on any of the pages, but the moment I log out I get the error for every cached page on the site except for the homepage.

I’ve tried tweaking the settings and deactivating, but unless I clear the cache first I still get the errors.

If I check the file permissions, the cached folders are set to 755 and html pages are set to 664.

If I was getting the same problem on my other websites, I would say it was a plugin or theme conflict, but as I said the others are working fine.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

Now I’ve noticed that, even though I deactivated caching so that visitors could access the site, if you run a search on the site you also get a permission error. I checked on my other sites and the same thing happens.

I’ve had to completely deactivate the plugin on the plugin page for the search function to work.

I also have Better WP security installed, could this be a conflict?

    Help?
