403 error after duplicating site to a new host

    I have duplicated one site and saved the full archive package and installer script, which I then uploaded to my new host. I went through the installer.php script and was unsuccessful with the deploy option when trying to extract the archive automatically so I uploaded it manually and carried on with the duplication process that way. This worked, but unfortunately I know get an error message when trying to access the ‘Test Site’ or ‘Update Permalinks’ option and I can’t access the site via wp-admin either.

    Please can someone help? I have disabled all plugins, deleted .htaccess and changed all file and folder permissions.

  • This looks very close to a ticket that was submitted. I’ll assume its the same post, otherwise please correct me if I’m wrong.
