    Hello,

First of all thank you for your very helpfull plugin.

Because of hosting limitation, i use WP-Cron Control to enable some cronjob. I fill crontab with the suggest lines by the plugin. And i remember at the beginning it was worlking perfectly.

Nowadays i get a Error 403 – Forbidden email from crontab each time the cron job try to execute the command.

The only change between the beginning and now is that i configure and enable iThemes Security. So i guess iThemes Security blocks the access to the file to execute the cron job.

Is there a was to solve this issue? A white list folder/file for access?

Thank you in advance for any help.

  • If it is enabled you could try and disable the HackRepair.com’s blacklist setting in the Banned Users section of the iTSec plugin Settings page.

I was having a similar issue. I wasn’t using WP-Cront Control, but the circumstances were similar.

Disabling HacklistRepair fixed the problem. I don’t understand why. It’s totally counter-intuitive, but it worked.

    Thanks dwinden! ??

    Thank you for the trick.
It works perfectly. Strange, but it works.

Thanks dwinden. I mark it as resolved.
