As an admin user, I tried to log in today but received a 401. I tried other logins that previously worked, and they received the same response. Via cPanel I checked for changes in File Manager and saw that WordFence had a very recent date (5 Dec) for its plugin, so I’m assuming it’s been updated.

Short of deleting WordFence (both plugin and database records), is there some way I can regain access.

    Thanks.

This problem has mysteriously corrected itself. Strange.

    Hi @perrorist,

It seems you were temporarily blocked out by Wordfence. When the block expired, you regained access.

Can you take a look at Wordfence -> Tools -> Live Traffic, and locate when you were blocked out? Wordfence will show why you were blocked in live traffic.

    Dave
