  • Hey there ??

    Thanks for reaching out!

If I understand correctly, you are trying to link e-boekhouden to WooCommerce and keep getting a 401 error, yes?

Can you please clarify how you are linking e-boekhouden to WooCommerce? Are you using a plugin for this?

If so, I’d suggest reaching out to the respective plugin developers for further help with this as support related to third-party plugins is outside our scope of support.

We’d be happy to point you in the right direction once we have a better understanding of how you are linking e-boekhouden to WooCommerce ??

    Cheers!

    Hello Roxy,

Yes, thats correct! I link the e-boekhouden with the API.
I reached out but the response is:

    Error code: {“code”:woocommerce_rest_authentication_error”, “message”: Invalid signature – offered signature does not match.”, data”:{“status”:401}}

    Hi @storiestoremember,

The “Invalid signature” error typically occurs when the consumer key and consumer secret you’re using to authenticate your API request don’t match the ones stored in your WooCommerce settings.

    Here’s what you can do:

    1. Make sure you’re correctly passing the consumer key and secret in your API request. They should be included in the headers.
    2. If the issue persists, try regenerating new API keys in WooCommerce and use the new keys in your API request. More info: https://woo.com/document/woocommerce-rest-api/#section-2

Just a heads up, not all systems may support the latest WooCommerce API. If you find yourself in this situation, you can enable the “Enable the legacy REST API” option.

I hope this helps! Please let us know how it goes or if you need further assistance.

The red frame says: WooCommerce login failed. Error code 401. Check the login details and permissions or view the guide for common issues with the WooCommerce REST API.

As far as I can see I have everything set up correctly.

    Thanks for your help!

    Hi @storiestoremember,

Thanks for sharing additional information. Unfortunately, we can’t see or access the screenshot shared. Could you please share it via https://snipboard.io?

However, the error message you’re seeing typically indicates an authentication issue. This might be due to incorrect Consumer Key and Consumer Secret, or insufficient permissions.

Here are a few additional steps you can try:

    1. Double-check the API credentials (Consumer Key and Consumer Secret) that you’re using for e-boekhouden. Make sure there are no extra spaces or characters.
    2. Verify that the user associated with the API keys has the required permissions. For instance, if you’re trying to create or update products, the user needs to have ‘write’ permissions.

Here are some other resources that might helps too:

Let us know how that goes for you.
