I am currently getting a 400 bad gateway error if I select more than 1 category, for example, if I select Prepack it works, but if I select Prepack and Net Pack Styles (which is a sub category of Prepack) it does not. Also, if I select Net Pack Styles it automatically adds Prepack, and thus doesn’t work either.

My structure is /products/%product_categories%/%postname%/ and I have enabled hierarchy, rewrite hierarchy and with front.

Am I doing something wrong? My CPT / Taxonomy was set up using CPT UI.

Nothing wrong that I’m aware of. Is this occurring when you’re saving a post? Trying to view the post on the frontend? Something else? Might be something trickling down to WordPress core, but I can’t say that for certain at the moment.

The link comes up as it should in the backend, it’s only when I view the actual page itself that I get the error and it says %product_categories% instead of the actual link

Sounds like the custom permalink parameters are possibly not registered/handled properly yet. I am going to assume you’ve had your permalink rules flushed recently enough. However, I’m not sure exactly how much you may have in rewrite slug fields for any post types/taxonomies you’ve registered. Ideally they shouldn’t have the different parts, as the slug fields are meant for individual items.
