4.0 killed my Website and WP Login page

  • I had this same problem when upgrading to 4.0 yesterday.

    You may be able to force a cache on the update by going to https://yourwebsite.com/wp-admin/upgrade.php

    If that doesn’t work, I was able to fix everything by replacing my functions.php with a clean version from my theme. Only do this if you have put any customizations to your site’s WP functions in a custom-functions.php file.

    functions.php is in your theme folder in wp-content on your server.

    Called my hosting company and they manually fixed it for me. I love Westhost!
