    Just selecting the text and pressing ctrl+c has a lot of side effects that makes this method very unreliable – it should not be used.

    but generally EnlighterJS v2 (as well as v3) includes the indent option which doesn’t alter any tabs (Enlighter -> Appearance -> Global Settings -> Code-Indent) – this will work as expected

    btw. EnlighterJS v3 includes a “copy” button which copies the current active code pane into the clipboard.
