4 spaces being added to my code when copying and pasting

  • Hi,
    I’m using RAW code with the “No modifications(keep tabs) and yet when I copy the code and try pasting (to notepad or using nano in linux), 4 spaces are being added to every line.
    Is there a way to have Enlighter leave code alone so it’s not adding those 4 spaces or just display RAW code (without having to doubleclick or open a new window)?

    If I double click on the code (so it’s raw) then the spaces don’t appear and it works fine.

    I’m using the Gutenberg Enlighter.

    Hi @nleibert ,

    i’ve tried to reproduce you issue but everything works fine within the testing environment (tabs are still present).

    could you please provide a link to an example ?

    maybe it’s an issue with another plugin or theme – did you tried to reproduce the issue within a clean environment ?
