4 seconds delay when click on external URLs

  • Recently I found there is an obvious delay when I click on links or objects which are related to external websites like friends` weblogs or socials websites.

    My blog is in Persian language but you can test this issue with clicking on socials websites icons in header area (left side).

    How can I find the reason and solve this problem?

    I found the reason, WP SlimStat plugin makes delay when try to analyze external links. I`d open a new topic in that plugin thread.

    Yes, SlimStat needs about half a second (or 500 milliseconds) to communicate back the click to the tracker before the page is unloaded.
