4.8.1 hangs forever when user clicks “Submit”

I re-downloaded CF7 4.8 and installed it and it’s working fine again.

Possible plugins I use that may be conflicting:

Contact Form DB Version 2.10.32
Postman SMTP Version 1.7.2

I am also having the same problem, so downgraded to 4.8 again.
The form is getting submitted after hitting submit button and takes forever to send.

Having the same issue here. After clicking the send button, it just keeps spinning sync and not submitting…

We have a lot of sites that use this plugin and half are working and half are not. I reverted one of our most important back to the previous version and it is now working. On many of our sites it appears to be a Really Simple Captcha issue. Simply turning off the pulgin will not help as the code that is added to make the plugin work must also be removed.

Again this is not the issue on all our sites. I hope this helps someone track down the problem.

Same here. The path is definitely wrong.

We finally got most of our sites working by disabling both the “Contact Form 7” plugin and the “Really Simple CAPTCHA” plugin and then clearing the cache. The clearing of the cache was very important. On a few sites we had to revert back to an older version of Contact Form 7. I hope this helps someone.
