4.4.1 still flagging alerts with iThemes Security

  • Hi!

    I use the iThemes Security plugin to monitor my websites. Even after the 4.4 (and 4.4.1) WP-AppBox updates, iThemes is still flagging the plugin as having a security issue, but more strangely, the alert is still listing the plugin as an older version. I’ve been getting alerts from iThemes every day. So, I reached out to iThemes to find out what was going wrong. I’m sharing their reply below in case it helps.

    The developer will need to contact WPVulnDB and request they update the database to reflect they’ve issued a patch to resolve the vulnerability.
