4.0: Admin interface not loading correctly?
-
Our users brought attention to an issue where the new admin-scripts brought in v4.0 weren’t loaded correctly using Chromium browsers.
When you find that the interface of The SEO Framework isn’t displayed correctly, you may want to clear your browser cache after updating.
Alternatively, a forced refresh of the broken admin page should also do the trick, any of these solutions should work:
- Hold CTRL (Windows), CMD (Mac), or SUPER (Linux) and click on the page refresh button.
- Windows: “CTRL+SHIFT+R”
- Mac: “CMD+R”
Some users also found that, when using a caching plugin, clearing your WordPress cache also helped. You may need to perform any of the steps above after clearing that.
If neither of these solutions works for you, try using another browser, and see if everything’s OK there.
This is very unlikely, but, as a last resort, some service solutions cache static files from the server in memory. Litespeed and NGINX web servers may be configured this way. Reinstalling the plugin may resolve this issue.
If none of the solutions mentioned above work for you, please open a support inquiry in the forums. Thank you!
