• Hello again.

After resolving our first issue, setting up the plugin, we are sufering a new one.
On a first stage, things were working fine but, since a day ago, the 3rd party templates converter doesn’t work on our production server and the AALB tags are not converted. Log shows too many errors but always the same code:

    “2020-03-31 06:45:20 https://webservices.amazon.es/paapi5/searchitems AAL_25527695ab501648316eb5ed8e7cfaba
    https://saposyprincesas.elmundo.es/?debug=0
429: Too Many Requests TooManyRequests: The request was denied due to request throttling. Please verify the number of requests made per second to the Amazon Product Advertising API.”

We have the same configuration on our poreproduction server and everything works fine. Is there a way to control the number of requests made?

Thank you again for your quick response.
    Regards.

    Hi,

One way to avoid that error is to set a longer cache duration via Dashboard -> Amazon Auto Links -> Settings -> Default -> Cache -> Cache Duration.

When you have multiple web sites using the same API keys, that error might occur, even though they are a local test site and a public production site. Or if you run different Amazon plugins using the keys of the same account.

I’ll see if I can add an option not to cache errors. This would make it possible to show old contents when a newly requested API response contains an error. I cannot guarantee when it comes though.

    Hello,

I’ve setted up cache duration and cleared the http requests. That do the trick.

Not caching errors could help in these cases but, if everything is working fine and setttings are correctly configured, that should not be neccesary.

    Thank you and kind regards!
