• I’ve just redesigned 3DGPU.com, a site that has been around for over 4 years in the tech news circle, reporting on gaming, video cards, hardware, tech, and other geek-related news. We do reviews and previews of the latest video cards frequently. The site has grown really cluttered and difficult over the years, so I decided to overhaul it, make it web standards compliant, and have it powered by WordPress, which I deem it powerful yet easy to use for a site like mine.
Feel free to visit, especially if you’re into PC gaming:

  • Looking good … very easy on the eyes! How did you create your background pattern? I’ve been trying forever to figure out how to do a thick diagonally repeating background like that in Photoshop …. Ideas? Again, looking great … congrats!

gregor: I didn’t do the background pattern (I’m very horrible working with graphics), I got it from a liquid design demonstration off a tutorial at AListApart, which can be found here:

Thanks for the kind words, it’s appreciated! ??

    Matt –
Looking good! Glad to see some other news/article sites migrating over to using WordPress as a lightweight CMS. Let me know if you need any help with anything… I’ve been down many roads before… ?? I definitely like you basic menuing approach. Site is very easy to navigate (less cluttered than mine, for certain).
