Hi, thank you for reaching out to us. The plugin developers will investigate further your request.

    Kind regards

    Hi,

If you want to continue using this plugin with 3D secure, it seems like Cardinal Commerce (PayPals official parnter) supplies a plugin to integrate 3D secure into WooCommerce. You can read about it here:
    https://www.paypal.com/uk/webapps/mpp/psd2

It has a link to register with Cardinal Commerce near the bottom of the page.

    Hi

I have been in touch with Pay Pal and Cardinal Commerce and whilst they originally stated that they have built a plugin, but its full of bugs.

They are currently recommending that people use the woocommerce paypal (paid for), plugin as it includes the 3D secure features

There is maybe an opportunity here

Hi, We have started the coding work to add this to the addon. This will be available soon.

DO we have a date for this yet? Just got a call from PayPal to say transactions will start to fail from next week due to this issue. I will have to leave this plugin behind if the solution is not out in a week.

Yeah good point, I have been told that Cardinal Commerce are working on a free one that will work but when will it work?

We might have to use the PayPal one at $79.00 a year ??

Hi @wpinsider-1, I’m needing to implement a solution to this issue too. How is the coding work going – and thanks for your work!

Me too, I need PSD2! Do you think you will soon have a solution with this plug-in? Paypal and Cardinal Commerce both seem to be a complete shambles! Thanks so much.

any update on this? PSD2 become law in europe in 3 weeks time so 3D secure will be required.
I finally have got my magento site working and I have kind of got the woocommerce site working using the official plugin but problem is it doesnt display the 3D secure authentication in a iframe / window but does a complete redirect therefore leaving the site which is both really bad UX and also against 3D Secure guidelines so Im not happy in sending it live. Im looking to see if there is another solution but still cant find one. Cant believe this is taking the better part of a year to try to sort out. Currently looking like I will have to try to port over the magento code to extend the official woocommerce plugin to try to get that working in a frame myself which will take me some time to work out.
