    Hello,

    My store language is in ENG and I’m using translatepress for FRENCH. Our pending payment rate for 3D secure failure is very high every day and I wanna check if there is something going wrong with the 3D secure authentification.

    When a customer needs to authentify his payment, will he see the message in ENG or in FRENCH?

    I just did a test (FRENCH language selected in browser) with my card and it display me the message in ENG :
    Check your **** app to authorize this payment

    My bank is in french language and my browser is also in french. If customers see the message in English, that’s can explain the high pending payments

    When a customer needs to authentify his payment, will he see the message in ENG or in FRENCH?

    Stripe will render the language based on your customer’s browser settings and location. You can override this by using the site Locale option located on the Advanced Settings page of the Stripe plugin. That will use your site’s locale option when displaying Stripe elements.

    Please try that and provide an update.

    @izna1993 We contacted Stripe and they confirmed that the bank backing the credit card is responsible for the content and language that’s rendered in the 3DS modal.

    It is the bank that determines the language that’s displayed during the 3DS process.
