  • Hello,

    To clarify:

Stripe triggers 3DS automatically if required by a regulatory mandate such as?Strong Customer Authentication. You can also?use Radar rules?or the API to control when to prompt customers to complete 3DS authentication, making a determination for each user based on the desired parameters.

    [Source]

If you are using the latest version of our WooCommerce Stripe plugin, you can rest assured as it is already 3D Secure. However, you may need to tweak some settings in your Stripe Dashboard account, depending on your preferences.

For more information on this, visit our website: https://woocommerce.com/posts/introducing-strong-customer-authentication-sca/

To ensure that 3D secure is used whenever possible, you should enable the three radar rules in your Stripe radar rule settings. This will ensure that any card that supports it will be required to use it.

Sorry i tought that you where stripe support

    Hi @pipoulito

I believe this is what @ihereira by Stripe Support: https://support.stripe.com/

Regarding your question about 3D Secure and Stripe settings, I can confirm that if a user has 3D Secure enabled on their credit card, there is no additional configuration needed within your Stripe settings to enable it.

When a customer with a 3D Secure-enabled credit card makes a purchase on your WooCommerce store, the authentication process will be handled automatically by Stripe. The customer may be prompted to verify their identity, depending on their card issuer’s requirements. This additional layer of security helps protect both you and your customers from potential fraudulent transactions.

To ensure the best experience for your customers, please make sure that your WooCommerce store is running the latest version of the Stripe plugin and that your Stripe account is properly connected to your WooCommerce store.

    Hope this helps!
