3.7.1 uploading media will not work

    I am trying to upload images to my website and the files upload fine but you cannot see the image, the image is blank and once posted to the site it has a question mark in the centre.

    When i go to edit the image i can see it and rotate the image but once i make a change and save the changes, i can no longer see the image.

    I have recently moved my site to a new domain name so not sure if this may be causing the problem?

    You should create a new topic yes, for each issue you want to discuss. www.remarpro.com forums work best by discussing one person’s issue at a time.

    Ah brilliant thanks for that, we are getting somewhere because i have just uploaded a new blog if you check the site but the thumbnail still won’t work but when you click on the blog the main image does work, i suppose this is a good start, i have changed all the file permissions to 664 too which is strange

    Also is there anyway i can change the setting to upload all my new images with the permission of 664 instead of changing them manually using ftp

    Check out this single post from a few months back. Seems some Zeus Web Server settings default to 660 for uploads, which is what is happening to you, and you’re on Zeus.

    If you can’t edit something yourself in your hosting environment, time to speak with your hosts.
