I am trying to upload images to my website and the files upload fine but you cannot see the image, the image is blank and once posted to the site it has a question mark in the centre.

When i go to edit the image i can see it and rotate the image but once i make a change and save the changes, i can no longer see the image.

I have recently moved my site to a new domain name so not sure if this may be causing the problem?

I have the same issue. All my old pictures are fine, but since the 3.7.1 update, everytime I try to upload a new picture, it appear broken. I run a photography blog, so these last few days have been quite painful….Can anyone help?

@benjlawton – did this issue start right after you moved your site? Or was it after upgrading WP?

What’s your site URL?

Have you gone through the troubleshooting thread I posted above?

Yes its ever since I’ve moved my site,

I’ve tried various steps but I don’t think I have seen your troubleshooting method I will try and find it.

If it’s related to moving your site, that thread probably is not relevant. How did you move the site or change the domain name?

I made the site on a sub domain to the main domain and then downloaded the files of the site i had built using filezilla then copied those over to the main domain and changed the wp-config file and the site is working perfectly except I cannot upload any images at all.

Im new to working with websites so please bare with me

hello, this is my first wordpress website and i am having the same problems, all the images i load up have a ? and are not visable in the preview or live settings, but they can be seen in the editing of image area?

what am i doing wrong, i too am on wp3.7 can anyone help please?

I’ve changed the permissions and it doesn’t seem to make a difference, also y media settings seem fine, I’m stumped

I have tried to understand the FIle permissions but as it says – prob best to leave alone if downloaded WP yourself.

I can ‘see’ the image if I chose to Edit Media. I can crop it, resize it save it and whatever BUT when I want to use the image it reverts to Blue edged box with blue ? in the middle ??

What about you benjlawton?
