3.7.1 uploading media a no goer HELP please

went to 2013 changed to that theme
Deactivated all the plugins
Tried to upload – yes same thing happened – it uploaded, crunched and then – blue square. when I went to edit image there smiling back was a perfect picture of what I’d up loaded – as usual. go back to media file and there we are – one blue ? again.

So I reactivated the plugins and reverted to the original theme.

Its almost a blockage between the image on the media upload page and the rest (apart from the edit)

I did try exactly what you suggested though but sadly …. nowt joy

Turn off JetPack and delete it from your plugins.

turned it off and have deleted it immediately tried upload = same blue ? and square.

I will leave it a wee while and try again incase it takes time

Can you post a link to a page where you’ve tried to add an image?

Please change the name on the plugins folder and switch to twentythirteen. I know you’ve done that, but there’s really no other way to try to solve issues like this.

Hi – yes I put that one up a couple of days ago (originally from my iPhone) and uploaded from my camera uploads on dropbox and it stayed so I have tried to not fiddle with it!

No problem – you’ll need to use FTP or Cpanel to access your site files on the server – then find the plugins folder and rename it to:

wp-content
    plugins.HOLD

OK – Im on the server site and in the folders trying to track down the plugin folder – will keep you posted!

Ha – found the folder now got to rename with being able to Rt click!

CHanged it – now will try re photos!
