3.6 HTML5 video not working on mobile devices?

  • I’ve read about formats that mobile devices should support and it looks like an iPad with the latest version of iOS and Safari should at least support .mp4 encoded in h.264?

    I’ve uploaded a sample video from the Apple website and embedded it with the new media player but all I get on my mobile devices is a grey box on the page with “Download File” in it, on both Safari and Chrome.

    What formats of video should work with the new 3.6 media player on which devices?
