[Plugin: The Events Calendar] RSS Feed for the Calendar

I’ve been using: https://url.com/category/events/feed

and it seems to work ok. Does that not work for you?

I’ve tried that link and it just pulls up the events page with calendar, not an RSS feed…

Any help?

Can you include a link to your site? I just checked that the link the Reid posted above works on about 3 other sites and it checked out.

I would love to but the site in development and currently is blocked for all but specific IPs so I can build the site on the live server.

I just tried it again and it pulls up the same page as https://url.com/category/events

no clue what to tell you. Have you tried pulling feeds from other categories? what do you see?

It pulls up a feed page with the most recent posts no problem.

Does it have anything to do with the permalink structure? I have a custom structure of /%category%/%postname%/

It might. Let me test that and get back to you.

I am having the same issue (and using the same permalink as jakob). The url https://www.styleblueprint.com/category/events/feed/ pulls up the calendar and not an rss feed.

Just a friendly reminder that the Dev Team will return from vacation in one week. If there is a work-around for this issue, I’m sure they will provide an answer when they return. In the meantime, does anyone else have any ideas?

Hi all,

I finally got this one. The fix is in trunk and will be released with 1.5.5.

To get it now, replace your the-events-calendar.php with the one in trunk, or you could just replace your function templateChooser() with the one in trunk in the-events-calendar.php.

The latter option is probably best since other bugs have been fixed in that file and they are not thoroughly tested yet.

EDIT: I forgot to mention. Make sure you clear your cache after installing the fix.

Just wondering if there’s a way to have the RSS feed for The Events Calendar display the posts by the date you specify for the event?
My feed just shows the events by the date I posted them not the date they occur on.
