Disappearing links in sidebar after widget installation

    i installed a widget in the sidebar and all my links have disappeared.
    the fmp flash player.

    what’s going on?
    how can i fix this?

  • that is normal – you have to use widgets to put the links back into the sidebar, pick them from the widgets you can see in the admin – appearance – widget section.
    some themes (most?) have some standard links, such as categories, archive, blogroll, meta, in the sidebar until you install the first widget.

    That’s standard behaviour. Adding 1 or more widgets to the sidebar will cause the default sidebar content to disappear. Try adding the Links widget to your sidebar now.
