3.1.5 not displaying at all

  • Hello,
    After upgrading my wordpress to 3.8.1 and WPTouch to the new 3.5.1 the mobile theme I have configured doesn’t show at all on 3 different mobile device I have (Samsung Galaxy S4, Samsung Galaxy Nexus, and Samsung Tab 10.1).

    I have set display mode to “Normal (active for all mobile visitors).

    I have landing page set to Blog

    I tried disabling all plugins thinking that there was a conflict somewhere, however it didn’t impact anything.

    When I preview it loads up perfectly, but when I go to it on an actual mobile device I just get the responsive version of my desktop theme.

    So it appears to be working just fine, I have no idea why it wasn’t before though!

    Are you running any cache plugins? They may be the culprit if it hasn’t been setup for WPtouch (meaning it will serve cached desktop pages to mobile visitors instead of WPtouch pages).

    I am running a cahce plugin. So that could have been the culprit and would explain why it started working after a while.

    However I did disable all plugins except WPTouch and it still didn’t work after doing that.

    I suppose that could have been the cache on the devices I was using, since I hadn’t cleared those out.

    Either way it’s working great and looking great now! Thanks for developing an awesome plugin!

    I have this problem too. How do I know if I have cache plugins? (It is not a term I am familiar with).
