Backup to Google Drive 2.03

I have not been able to take a backup for two weeks, having same issue. I also purchased the Google Drive plugin but cannot use currently.

If I try to run a backup the plugin just clocks. The automated backup was running for 2 days! I would like to keep using your plugin, but need a solution soon. When do you think there will be a fix in place?

If you have a premium extension could you contact us through out support channels?

We’re still looking into why backups are failing after 3.1.4.

One important thing to test is if all backups are failing or if it’s only backups with files.
If anyone has an issue here could you let us know if database only backups are working, if they are it’s likely your issue is server related.

I just upped to 256M and still doesn’t work. Thanks for the tip, anyway. Also, is there any info I might share with my web host administrator that might help them advise on this? I don’t know anything about server administration, but would be glad to share a non-technical explanation if that may help. Thanks,

There’s currently an issue with backups and Heart Internet.

We’re looking into possible solutions.

This is now FIXED for me. Thanks a big bunch to Owain for his patience in helping me through this. My problem was that newer versions failed because of my htaccess allow/deny setup in the wp-admin folder (the IP was just for me to give 403 to hackers). With Owain’s help, I added the IP of my server (gleaned from my cpanel) to the allow list and now it works fine with current version. I’m very pleased to get this resolved. Support was SUPER. Thank you.
