• Hey All,

hopefully someone here can help me out. I have just now upgraded my site to running the latest wordpress version, 3.1.2.
Immediatly after the upgrade my site is no longer loading any styles?

Its very strange, my site can be seen here: https://www.onlinesurveysaustralia.com.au

I have removed all the plug ins, I have set the default theme to twenty ten, I have also attempted to down grade back to version 3.1 but nothing works… Very frustrating.

If anyone can give any ideas for a potential fix that would be great.

I am not sure if this was always the case however I have also noted that i am unable to navigate to an image in a theme folder that is definitely there on the server. For example:
    https://www.onlinesurveysaustralia.com.au/wp-content/themes/twentyten/images/wordpress.png

Could you restore your /twentyten/ folder from a backup?

    Yep I could do that…
I just did but it does not change anything :(.

I didn’t make a DB backup prior to upgrading also FYI.

Hi, yep looks a mess without CSS eh? Have you tried checking the location of your CSS file? I just tried to find the CSS from the source code and it’s missing…

You must be working on it now? Validation of html or css try goes to a png file and fails.

For a while style.css and the image link above where bring up 404 errors which means they are not where they are supposed to be.

Thanks everyone for your advice. I am still at a loss to figure out what could have caused it. By the looks of things I will just need to do a fresh install and import all the pages and posts (of which there is over 200)

Is there a way of generating a list of the changes it made to the DB? I really want to avoid having to do a fresh install as it has a lot of customer configuration…

What does your .htaccess file look like?
