Alright, a proper fix has been issued with the 3.1.1 release so please upgrade as soon as you can.

My sincere apologies for all the inconveniences this may have caused.

that’s great, thank you! seems the problem is gone.

maybe you can make it work with caching plugins as well – I have problems because I use total cache – your plugin is not actually working with it, even if I enable ajaxify

It should work with W3TC. Try clearing W3TC’s cache and see if it helps.

sometimes it does, yes. but it’s pretty weird, because now it works, now it doesn’t. there are days when I clear cache and all I see in the last 24 hours are just a few views, for posts that are not actually the popular ones.

thanks for answering all the time, really nice of you.

Alright, I’ll take another look at WT3C once I get some more spare time to work on the plugin.

Don’t worry about it. I do my best to help people here, even on busy times like this. After all, this is my plugin and someone has to do it hehe Thanks for your kind words.
