• Installed and activated plugin Bulletproof security, this plugins changes .htaccess files to improve securitey, after changing the .htaccess file in the public_html file there was no problem, I carried on an allowed it to create a .htaccess file for the wp-admin folder, instantly got a 500 error and have been unable to access the admin area since.

I cannot find a htaccess file in the wp-admin folder, I have reverted the .htaccess file from the public_html folder back to as it was and I have removed the plugin from content/plugins folder. I have even restored a back up and I still cannot access the wp-admin area.

    The server error is –

[Tue Dec 18 08:58:24 2012] [crit] [client 62.253.141.247] (13)Permission denied: /home/strateg1/public_html/wp-admin/.htaccess pcfg_openfile: unable to check htaccess file, ensure it is readable

A link to the site https://casually-addicted.net/.

The website error message – Error 310 (net::ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS): There were too many redirects.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks
