• I have been working on setting up a multisite installation and just upgraded to 3.1.

URLs for my main blog are no longer working, but work if I re-insert “blog” immediately after the domain.

I’m pretty sure there was a way to turn this off previously, but I can’t find it now. Is that feature gone? Do I need to live with the “blog” in my URLs?

    Alas, yes.

Apparently this was a bug that was ‘fixed’ in 3.1

    I didn’t even notice until … Monday.

Oh you’re kidding. Crap. Well now I have custom taxonomy pages that don’t work at all, even with “blog” in the URL.

Is there a way to change “blog”?

Not that I’ve sussed out yet.

Your CPTs should be fine, though, unless you have capital letters in their names.

Capital letters in the names? Or in the slugs?

There aren’t any capitals in the slugs, and the CPT pages work in other blogs in the system, just not the main one. :/

    Slugs.

Hrm. I wonder if they work for me because my main blog isn’t blog #1…
