  • Strange, the target page loads fine for me.
    Do you have other rewrite rules with “+”, try and copy / paste a rule that works, change the target to this one, does it get matched and re-direct (to the wrong page) ? Have you played with the order of the rules ?

    Solved it ??

    I looked at /What+is+HIC+Steel%3F and realised that %3F was the way that ? is shown. So I added an additional line to htaccess

    redirect 301 /What+is+HIC+Steel? https://www.oakleysteel.co.uk/pressure-vessel-steel-plate/hic-steel

    And that solved it straight off. So the learning point for me is that you have to look at what the original url was meant to be and consider that.

    Easy win for first thing on a monday morning ??
