    Hello

I use AHREFS for my SEO and it tells me that my sitemap (generated by Jetpack) has many 301 redirects, all for images.

Other than being all images, I cannot see any firm pattern. For example, they are are largely images uploaded in the last 18 months, but one or two are older and most images are not on the list.

They are largely SVG files, but there are some png and jpg files as well.

The issue seems to be that Jetpack is using the permalink format for the ‘page url’ and the image url for the image url and this difference suggests to AHREFS that there is a 301 redirect. You can see this on row 46.

Does this matter to search engines? IE will it impact page rank? If so how can I get jetpack to act consistently with my images and always use the page the image is on as the page URL?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]
