301 redirect problems with Better WP Security

  • I would like to use Better WP Security but when I do and add 301 redirects in my .htaccess it causes all kinds of problems??? If I delete the plugin the site and redirects work perfectly? I can not find anything online addressing this issue. Is there another security plugin that works with 301 redirects better? I don’t want to use a plugin to place the redirects when I can edit the file myself. Besides there are always plugin conflict issues.

    Note: I left the black list that Better WP Security placed in the .htaccess file and it has caused no problems.

    I’m having the same problem as well. But now it’s called “iThemes Security”. I’m trying to figure out if I turn off a feature if it will let me create a 301 in the cPanel.
