    Howdy; I just ran your plugin’s update (from 8.1.6 to 8.1.7) and immediately after my site was inaccessible, returning only a 500–internal server error message. When I removed the plugin via the file manager, the site worked again. I’ve rolled back to 8.1.6 and everything is working fine again.

    Dear @bhammondcvl & @draven666,

    Thanks for bringing this to our attention. We are aware that our 8.1.7 update has caused problems on certain sites. We have removed this update from the WP Directory and are working on an active fix. Version 8.1.6 is stable and fully functional.

    For those that have already downloaded the 8.1.7 update and it has caused issues, the best solution is as follows:

    Option 1

    Contact your web hosting company, and have them delete the “search-everything” folder from the “wp-content/plugins/” folder.

    Option 2 (for those comfortable managing files):

    Log into your site’s files using the File Manager provided by your web hosting company or by using an FTP program (such as Filezilla).
    Browse to “wp-content/plugins/” folder for your WordPress site.
    Delete “search-everything” folder.
    <p>

    Again, we apologize for this inconvenience.

    Thank you,

    Sovrn Support
