When I tried to activate the Beta version of the Simple Calendar plugin I got the following error:

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare gce_print_calendar() (previously declared in /home/wp_wf4jtd/northwestflyanglers.org/wp-content/plugins/google-calendar-events/includes/misc-functions.php:8) in /home/wp_wf4jtd/northwestflyanglers.org/wp-content/plugins/simple-calendar/includes/functions/deprecated.php on line 32

that file shouldn’t be there I think, probably a leftover of the first beta – when updating the beta, it’s best you wipe out the contents of the plugin folder /google-calendar-events

fyi yesterday we released a new beta that can be found at

    https://www.dropbox.com/s/2smkb3xe50rnvga/simple-calendar-3.0.0-beta2.zip?dl=1

if you signed up to the mailing list you should have been notified already

this new version fixes some bugs thanks to the feedback we received

also has a new setting (in Calendar appearance) to adjust some colors, so the calendars can be adapted to your theme even better

please wipe out the Google Calendar folder when updating the beta

and of course, the same caveats apply – do not run it yet on a live server and do backups if you have sensitive data

hopefully we will release this by beginning next week on www.remarpro.com updates for everyone

Just updated the calendar with your latest. Tremendous improvement. The only other feature I want to use but haven’t tried is multi day events.

    Thank you.
