3 Tier menu not working well on iPad

On my website the drop down is nicely done in three columns, everything is floating fine, and the background is solid.
On an iPad the menu doesn’t wrap, it extends all the way across the page, and the background color is missing on part of it.
I’ve tried changing the widths, and adding more backgrounds in different div’s, but I can’t find a combination that works.
Anyone else having issues with the iPad? Suggestions? Solutions?
