Hello, I’m currently working on your plugin.

    I’m currently facing 3 problems:

    1. How can I hide the caption? Or do I have to define this for each individual one?
    2. I don’t want the image to be cropped and to appear at a maximum height of 500px (this was also set in the settings). Unfortunately, the image then appears huge instead of just a maximum of 500px. How can I set the maximum height?
    3. For me, the image does not appear completely, but is moved slightly to the right within the container and you can always see a little bit to the left of the previous image.

Here is a link to my test page: https://t1p.de/qss61

    Thank you in advance.

Hi @gudrunpetz. Thanks for using MetaSlider.

    1. You can just leave the caption blank and it will then be hidden.
    2. There is a “Height” option available in the top-right corner of the settings screen. You will need to make sure that the “100% Width” option is disabled.
    3. Try disabling any performance or optimization plugins you have that are using lazy-load for images.

Hello, thanks for the quick answer.

      1. It’s a shame that I can’t set this centrally for the slider.
      2. I would like to have 700px width and a maximum height of 500 pixels. If I have 700px width, then the window will also be 700px. I have different sizes of images (horizontal, portrait and square). The image should spread out in the window (700×500). What option is there for this?
      3. I deliberately use WP Rocket. I don’t want to switch it off completely because otherwise it will slow down my page speed. What alternatives are there?

      Thank you

      2. You can check our documentation on that here: https://www.metaslider.com/docs/image-cropping/

      3. To solve the problem, we do need to find out what’s causing it. Please test to see if WP Rocket is the cause.

      Hello

      Thanks, I read the content.

Let’s stick with 2 for now to find out if that’s even possible: I entered 700 by 500px. The image still appears much larger. The horizontal image is also not centered but is positioned at the top edge.

@gudrunpetz Does WP Rocket have the ability to skip a specific page? If so, can you disable WP Rocket on your test page.
