3 problem areas with wordpress blog!

  • 1. Can’t seem to undo the password potection on pages or catagories and have it stay undone.

    2.Won’t let you copy and paste text from your computer into the text area of posting, catagloies or pages, why?

    3.adding a new theme from a different artist other than wordpress samples, no clear answer as to how to imoprt the new theme.

  • Can you provide any more information about any of these problems? I know for a fact that you CAN copy and paste into WordPress.

    As far as themes go, most themes come with instructions on how to upload them. Usually it is as simple as unzipping the downloaded theme inside the wp-content\themes directory.

    1. Page and category password protection? Are you using a plugin for this? WordPress doesn’t offer any password protection to categories that I’m aware of.

    2. As davegerdt notes, copy & paste does work in WordPress. More info as to what tools you’re using (copying from where? Web browser?) might help.
