I’m running version 6.0.3.1 of the plugin in theme Weaver Xtreme 1.3 and Xtreme+ plugin 1.3.

I have 3 mailchimp lists on a page which different audiences can subscribe to. So on the page

    https://www1.christmastreefestivals.org/contact/

…there are 3 shortcodes. Each shortcode is in a column of single row set up using the Pagebuilder plugin. Each has double optin enabled. Recaptcha is turned on and the keys are set. As you can see the recaptcha feature only appears for the first instance.

If I try to sign up using one of the forms on the contact page that does not show recaptcha, I get the message

‘It looks like we’ve run into a recaptcha error. Error: missing-input-response.’

There is also an instance of one of the signup forms on the home page – it’s the same form that correctly shows the recaptcha on the contact page.

Don’t know if it’s relevant but when I went to demo the home page signup form, having created it a while back following your major upgrade, the recaptcha part of the process generated an error. So I went back onto the recaptcha site and recreated the 2 keys. That’s the state the site is in now.

Your plugin is great! One thing I wish is that in general there was a way for a user to sign up to more than one list using a checkbox and a single email address. It’s in effect what you can do now for groups within a list, but here I’m talking about different lists, not groups within one list.

    Hi nstratman,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

We’ll test this on our end to try to resolve the reCAPTCHA issue and post our progress.

Thank you for the suggestion of adding users to more than one list at a time. We’ll add this to our list of future features to explore.

    Thank you!

    Hello,

We have added the ability to toggle the reCAPTCHA on and off on a per form basis via a shortcode parameter.

Please update the the newest version of the plugin and try the new options.

The new shortcode parameters is recaptcha=”1″/recaptcha=”0″. You can also override the reCAPTCHA language using recaptcha_lang=”fr” .

For example if you want to display the captcha and have it be in Spanish you would use:

    [yikes-mailchimp form="1" title="1" submit="Join!" recaptcha="1" recaptcha_lang="es"]

Please let us know if this fixes your problem.

    Thank you!

Hi Tracy thanks for responding so promptly with this. Whilst I can imagine that a parameter to turn recaptcha on or off per shortcode is useful, this does not address my problem statement above.

My issue is that with recaptcha turned on ‘globally’ within the plugin, in my situation where I have 3 signup forms on 1 page, only the first instance of the form shows recaptcha.

The site is live now so my original url will no longer work. We’ve worked around it by moving 2 of the instances to separate pages. But this is a clumsy for the user so I’d like to get this fixed if possible. So I’ve set up a test page which simply has a shortcode for each of the 3 forms in 1 cell of a single Pagebuilder row.

You can find it at https://www.christmastreefestivals.org/a-sign-up-test

I have updated the plugin to 6.0.3.2 and added recaptcha=”1″ to each shortcode. Here’s one of the shortcodes copied and pasted:

    [yikes-mailchimp form=”1″ recaptcha=”1″]

The other 2 are the same with form id 2 and 3.

    Thank you.

Thank you so much for setting up this test page for us.

We will work on a fix for this for the next update of the plugin.

    Thank you for you patience!

    Hi nstratman,

I am going to close this out here.

We have added this issue to our features list in Github where we keep track of all bug fixes and new features – https://github.com/yikesinc/yikes-inc-easy-mailchimp-extender/issues/353

Again, thank you so much for bringing this to our attention.

We plan on having the fix included in the next version of the plugin.

    Thank you!
