3-column fluid layout problem – middle column content pushed down

Hi y’all,

This is an old problem, but I haven’t been able to successfully find any solution to it. I have a 3-column fluid layout for my site here. As you can see, the content of the middle column is pushed down beyond the lowest element in the right column. If I just have stuff in the left column, it does the same thing.

I don’t know what I’m missing or doing wrong, but I haven’t found a solution that works yet to level the main content at the top of the middle column. I deeply appreciate any help.

My basic structure is based off Mani Sheriar’s Holy Grail example. Here is my css for this (or if you prefer, here are the stylesheet files: base.css and style.css):
