If you have specified “Logo Color” in Theme Selection section at plugin options page in admin area, plugin needs to alter the CSS files of plugin to change the logo color of share icons at your webpages. The message “403 Forbidden” you are getting shows that your website server doesn’t allow the CSS files to be modified via code. In this case, you can’t change the Logo Color of share icons.

Had all SSS CSS settings to default before warning occurred on update.
Just to test, I added #fffff on horizontal buttons CSS and the same type error occurred only this time “on line 311”

Seems these warnings only happen when plugin updates or if I change settings (for which I never do, buttons sit fine on homepage footer doing a great job) … If that is truly the case I can live with the periodic warnings. Thanks for your time to explain

Okay. Reason for that error is the same I explained above. We are not able to reproduce this scenario at our test environment. You would like to keep “Logo Color” options in “Theme Selection” section blank to avoid that PHP warning.
