  • I’ ve got a problem with the calculation of VAT for shipping costs after the last Woocommerce update. There’s is no calculation of VAT.
Wil this also be resolved in the next update? And when is the release of update 3.2.1?

Our shipping costs are €6.95 included VAT. Our Settings we applied 21%VAT. Our Shipping costs in the shopping cart are €5.74 (thats the price ex VAT)

I’d guess it’s the same issue as above if selling variations. Shipping taxes are not broken.

    Hi Mike,

Thanks for the update! VAT problems for products is now oke.

However the shipping costs is stil a problem. Our shipping costs are €6.95 included VAT. Our Settings we applied 21%VAT. Our Shipping costs in the shopping cart are €5.74 (thats the price ex VAT). I’ve made a screenshot i can send it to you.

I’ve tried several combinations of shipping setup and have had no issue. Our unit tests also work against shipping taxes (the product variations were missed because the testing suite uses simple products).

Send screenshots of the actual tax rates and tax settings screen, as well as a link to the site.

Where can I send the screenshots?

Image sharing service. Please also send the system status report from WC.

If I don’t get back to you (travelling), I’d suggest looking at:

    1) Tax rate settings – ensure the shipping checkbox on the rate is actually checked
    2) Tax settings – Set the shipping tax rate to inherit or try standard
    3) Check a plugin/theme is not conflicting with your totals.

Problem Solved. Changed the standaard tax settings in the Shipping Costs VAT and now its oke. Thanks for your help!
