    Responsive seems to have broken on any site I am using it with the recent update. I am getting errors along the lines of…

    Error Details

    =============

    An error of type E_ERROR was caused in line 31 of the file /home/website/public_html/wp-
    content/themes/responsive/core/rollback/start.php. Error message: Uncaught Error: Class
    ‘ResponsiveSDK\Loader’ not found in /home/website/public_html/wp-
    content/themes/responsive/core/rollback/start.php:31

    Any thoughts? Anyone else experiencing this?

  • Same problem on my site when I updated the theme today.

    Same here.

    I just updated one site to Responsive 3.26, saw the Fatal Error and immediately halted updates for my other eleven sites.

    @timlocke This fix worked for my site.

    Same thing on my site.
    Cyberchimps says we can rollback to the previous version but that’s not available in the way they demonstrate it. What gives?

    @samdamico This fix worked for my site. Would you consider attempting to apply it to yours?

    @netpassprodsr

    Thank you.
    But, I don’t know how. ??
    If I reactivate the theme the site goes belly up.
    And then I can’t get into the admin area.

    @samdamico Did you get the email from WordPress that looks something like this?

    Howdy! Since WordPress 5.2 there is a built-in feature that detects when something causes a fatal error on your site. (blah blah) If your site appears broken and you can’t access the dashboard normally, WordPress now has a special “recovery mode”. This lets you safely login to your dashboard and investigate further.

    … followed by a specific link to your site letting you into the admin area.

    @netpassprodsr
    I did.
    Thanks for the reminder.
    As usual, I just panicked and contacted the hosting I work with.
    But I still don’t know where/how to place the code you provided.

    @samdamico I suggest in your case to use the next patch release of the theme from the author to fix your site. It shouldn’t take too long.
    (The last 2 releases were both less than 1 day ago.)

    @netpassprodsr
    Thank you.
    In the meantime, my site is using a default WP theme.
    I’ve passed along your fix to the site hosting support team with the hopes they could apply the fix or give me direction on how to apply it.
    If they/or I apply the fix and then the theme author releases the patch for the theme and I update with the fix you suggested in place, will that cause issues again?

    We are working on this issue on priority.

    You will be notified once it is fixed.
