3.1 Plugin CPU Overload

This most recent plugin update version 3.1 for the Jetpack Vaultpress Backup causes a huge CPU overload and database overuse. Not sure what is going on. After upgrading the plugin, using the Query check plugin, it went from 0.26 to 3 seconds or more just managing database queries. Something is wrong and something is definitely broken and making things worse in this 3.1 plugin. I have to deactivate it now and keep it off until backup just because it’s causing such an overload on my server. Literally no other changes made besides upgrading the plugin to 3.1 today.
