3.0 Update Changes Main Menu Layout

Upgrading from 2.9.7 to 3.0 has altered the layout of the main menu at the top of the pages on our website, causing it to go to 2 lines, see URL above. The main menu does not have any images attached. The 3.0 version is shown in the above link on our staging site showing the two lines.

I have had a look at the HTML produced before and after the update and note that there are some extra classes which were absent before the upgrade – it seems that these are adding extra space in the menu, I used an HTML filter to remove the extra classes which restores the menu to its previous layout. I include an example of the change below (it’s the first menu item, “Home”).
